REFORMER BASICS

If you’re looking for a place to start, this is it. Reformer Basics is a slower paced class aimed at beginners, those recovering from injury or those looking to simplify their practice. You will get to know your way around the reformer bed and exactly how it can be used. Expect to work hard, but with more oversight and hands-on guidance from our team. If you are new to Reformer, then just remember that we are here to show you what to do, so don’t let it intimidate you!

If you are brand new to reformer pilates, our Reformer Basics class is the best place to get started. If you have dipped a toe in the reformer world elsewhere and feel confident on the reformer to dive straight in to our stretchy and spicy offerings, please be our guest.

Please wear Reformer grippy socks - if you don't have any then you can purchase them at the studio.

RE:BOUND

Join us for Re:Bound, a Reformer Pilates class that uses a jumpboard to add a dynamic, cardio element to class. This is a fun, high intensity workout that is both energising and challenging. Think intervals of jumping, but lying down, all with a pilates twist. Using the jumpboard is significantly kinder on your joints than a high impact workout, and adjusting the springs allows you to feel empowered over how much resistance you’d like to push against. Use this class to improve your core strength and stability while improving lower body mobility.

Due to the amount of core stability required for jump board exercises, these classes are not recommended for pregnancy, postpartum clients or those with chronic back injuries. These classes are also not recommended for beginners.
